Craigslist: Sheer Quantity Can Make a Winner

Craigslist wins for the sheer number of relevant job ads it produces for a job seeker. Even when parsing full-time from part-time, narrowing for geography and job type, I still got dozens of results. The inability to search within a geographic radius is a little annoying, but not a big deal. Far more important to me is the ability to set up a feed for your searches, which craigslist does, though it can be a little finicky. Yes, many of the jobs are "lower-level," but plenty of other jobs are posted here too. I got over 100 jobs, twice what Monster produced, for my particular job search.

Craigslist: One of the Best

Craigslist is simply one of the best for both job seeking and finding the next fit for your open positions (usually lower level ones). You really can't beat the price - most locations are either free or about $25 to post a job and the responce you get is better than monster and hotjobs, comparable to careerbuilder. The key here is high traffic. Craigslist has become a great resource for any classified ad you could think of placing...it only makes sense that it works GREAT for jobs too.
