Since today is Earth day, I hope to take some steps to be a little greener in the office.
Here are some things we are doing at our office to be a little greener:
• Recycle Paper - Used paper can be printed on the other side or cut into scrap paper for those random notes and phone messages.
• Recycle Ink Cartridges - There are many companies out there that accept your empty ink cartridges for credit towards new ink supplies.
• Turn off the lights during daylight hours, if your office has natural light and/or windows.
• Recycle Cans, Cardboard, and Plastic - Many of us recycle at home but don't always do the same at the office, since the trash usually just goes into a dumpster. Make sure your office and office building do their part to recycle.
• User Natural Cleansers - When cleaning your office use natural cleaners or try making your own homemade cleansers, it better for both the environment and your health.
