I concur with most comment regarding Jobfox. The resume re-write was expensive(over $300)and the results were full of grammatical errors! The $49 per month advantage is no advantage, except to their bank account!
I did not use the JobFox resume writing service, although I did request a critique of the one I wrote. The suggestions were hard to implement since they were written vaguely.
I paid for the job introductions for one month. I had only one company even look at my resume. The features were inconsistant. Since I used jobfox before I became an Advantage member, I was supposed to be able to upgrade job applications to an Advantage application. But the upgrade button did no display except for one job. I got less matches after becoming an Advantage member than before. The job matches seemed even less appropriate.
After reading other peoples experiences, I think I will cancel my membership and quit wasting my time at this site.
The main purpose of jobfox is to sell you their resume writing service. As an IT professional there job search service served NO benefit to me at all. Their search engine is so general in nature none of the jobs they matched me with were related to my particular experience at all.
I believe all Jobfox does is mine the web for other companies ads and then posts them as their own, as if the company came to them as asked them to find a suitable candidate.
And the first thing I got from them was a critic of my resume, saying how useless it is. Funny, because I have had employers tell me they like the look and wording of my resume.
As others have said, Jobfox spammed them constantly and continuously suggests there resume service.
I recommend to stay away from this service. That is unless you want to be spammed every day.
The resume "review" was an aweful experience. They provided me feedback in a very unprofessional manner, berating me to sign up for their paid resume review.
Did not find any useful functionality in this progress, my experience is that it was a complete waste of my time.
